Toll Free – 800
TNS offers University units the ability to create 1–800 Toll Free numbers so the expense of placing a domestic long distance or international call to the University would be borne by the University and not the caller. Depending on the location where the call is received or placed, available 800 Toll Free services include:
800 Readyline Service provides toll free inbound calling via a switched access toll free number to the associated departmental telephone number.
800 Megacom Service (UP ONLY) provides toll free inbound calling via a dedicated access toll free number to the associated University Park departmental telephone number (e.g., 863/ 865/ 867).
International Support on Toll Free Services can be provisioned to allow 800 toll free Service from around the globe. Toll Free service (Readyline or Megacom) can be extended to Hawaii, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Canada at no additional fee.

International Capability
To extend Toll Free Service to other international locations, Readyline or Megacom Service must be provisioned with AT&T Direct Toll Free Service. When utilizing this service, international callers will first dial the AT&T USADirect Access Number for the country from which they are calling and then dial the Readyline or Megacom Toll Free number.
