VoIP Cisco Call Manager User Web Options

Using the Cisco Unified CM User Options Web pages, you can control settings and features (such as call forwarding and speed dials from your personal computer.) Once you define these settings, you can access them from your home. However, the User Options Web Pages are available only within the Penn State network access and require a PSU IP address. Please refer to the Procedure below to access the User Options Web Pages from outside of the Penn State network.

The Cisco Unified CM User Options Web Interface at https://voip.psu.edu also allows you to:

  • Forward all calls to a different number
  • Add/Update your Speed Dials
  • Configure you Personal Address Book
Logging in to the User Options Web Pages

Procedure:

  1. If you are within the Penn State Network, skip to step 2. From outside of the Penn State network, use the ITS VPN service (http://aset.its.psu.edu/vpn/) or Dial-up Modem Access (http://css.its.psu.edu/internet/dialup/modem.html) to obtain a PSU IP address.
  2. Open a Web browser on your computer and enter the VoIP User Options URL: https://voip.psu.edu (Tip: bookmark the link)
  3. Enter your Penn State Access Account User ID, and Password and click logon.
  4. For Call Forwarding and Speed Dials: On the Cisco Unified CM User Options Page, use the drop down "User Options" and select "Device". This page will show the MAC address and model of your primary IP phone. If there is more than one listed, choose the correct one by comparing the MAC address to the one on your primary phone.
    • From the Device Configuration page, you can choose "Line Settings" and "Speed Dials" to make changes.
    • Buttons to "Save, Reset, or Return to other Service Pages are located at the bottom of the "Line Settings" and "Speed Dials" pages.
    • Remember to SAVE your changes before you exit.
  5. For Personal Address Book: On the Cisco Unified CM User Options Page, use the drop down "User Options" and select "Personal Address Book". Add, delete or make changes from this page.
  6. Click Logout to exit the User Options Web pages.
