PENN STATE INFORMATION (RSS) NEWS FEEDS AVAILABLE ON VOIP

The latest Penn State News, Weather and Alerts can now be accessed through the University's VoIP phone system. With this Web-based feature, VoIP subscribers can utilize the Services button on their IP phone set and browse through regularly updated text summaries of Penn State Newswire and Digital Collegian headlines, view current weather data, and access ITS Alerts and News excerpts on their telephone's display area. The VoIP news feed is a service feature that comes standard and is available on all University VoIP phone models (except models 7910 and 7935/7936). In addition to providing up to date news feeds, the Services button also provides access to special technical telephone support information pertinent to the IP telephone set.
