Land Navigation Suggested Routes
From New York City (4 1/2 hrs.)
George Washington Bridge to I-West (Keystone Shortway). Travel I-80 to Exit 161 (Bellefonte, PA). Follow Route 220 South. Take Exit 74 (Innovation Park/Penn State University).
To USB2: Bear left to Penn State University/Beaver Stadium/Bryce Jordan Center. Proceed to the 6th traffic light, turn right (North University Drive) and proceed past the Turf Grass Management Research Center. USB2 is the next building on the left.
To Telecommunications Building Bear left to Penn State University/Beaver Stadium/Bryce Jordan Center. . Proceed to the 7th traffic light. Turn left onto Bigler Road. At 2nd stop sign, turn right onto Pollock Road. Proceed one block to Shortlidge Road. Turn left onto Shortlidge Road to park in parking garage on right. The Telecommunications Building is located BEHIND the Boucke Building (second building on the right on Shortlidge Road).
From Philadelphia (3 1/2hrs.)
Schuylkill Expressway (I-76 North) to the Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76 West). Leave turnpike at Exit 10 (Harrisburg East), follow I-81 South to Route 322/22 West. Follow Route 322 West through Lewistown to State College.
To USB2: Take the Innovation Park/Penn State University Exit 74. Bear right at traffic light to Penn State University and proceed to the 5th traffic light, (North University Drive) turn right and proceed past the Turf Grass Management Research Center. USB2 is the next building on the left.
To Telecommunications Building: Take the Innovation Park/Penn State University Exit. Bear right at traffic light to Penn State University and proceed to the 6th traffic light. Turn left onto Bigler Road. At 2nd stop sign, turn right onto Pollock Road. Proceed one block to Shortlidge Road. Turn left onto Shortlidge Road to park in parking garage on right. From Pittsburgh (3 hrs.)
US Route 22 to Duncansville, I-99/Route 220 north to Route 322 east to Mt Nittany Expressway / State College Exit 73.
To USB2: Take Exit 73 (Innovation Park/Penn State University). Bear right at traffic light to Penn State University onto Park Avenue. Proceed to the 4th traffic light, turn right (North University Drive) and proceed past the Turf Grass Management Research Center. USB2 is the next building on the left.
To Telecommunications Building: Take Exit 73 (Innovation Park/Penn State University). Bear right at traffic light to Penn State University onto Park Avenue. Proceed to the 5th traffic light. Turn left onto Bigler Road. At 2nd stop sign, turn right onto Pollock Road. Proceed one block to Shortlidge Road. Turn left onto Shortlidge Road to park in parking garage on right. From Washington, D.C. (4 hrs.)
- I-270 West to Frederick, MD. Follow Route 15 past Gettysburg, through Camp Hill to Amity Hall, then Route 322/22 West to Lewistown and to State College.
- I-95 or the Baltimore-Washington Parkway to Baltimore, West loop I-695 to I-83 North. Follow I-83 to I-81 to Route 322/22 West to Lewistown and to State College.
To USB2: Take the Innovation Park/Penn State University Exit. Bear right at traffic light to Penn State University and proceed to the 5th traffic light turn right and proceed past the Turf Grass Management Research Center. USB2 is the next building on the left.
To Telecommunications Building: Take the Innovation Park/Penn State University Exit. Bear right at traffic light to Penn State University and proceed to the 6th traffic light. From Points West, take I-80 to
Exit 123 (Woodland) East of Clearfield. Route 322 East to State College.
To USB2: Take Exit 73 (Innovation Park/Penn State University). Bear right at traffic light to Penn State University onto Park Avenue. Proceed to the 4th traffic light, turn right (North University Drive) and proceed past the Turf Grass Management Research Center. USB2 is the next building on the left.
