Ordering TNS ServicesThere are multiple ways a customer can order TNS services. After an initial discussion with an ITS Consultant concerning ITS services, if the customer is interested in TNS provided services they should contact the TNS design service management team by calling one of the service inquiry telephone numbers below or submitting an internet based service inquiry.
Once the inquiry or service request is received, a TNS “service manager” will be assigned to support the customer request. The TNS service manager will work with the customer to gathering a better understating the customer’s service needs, describe the service delivery process, design and service considerations, pricing/fees, and estimated lead times. If the customer wishes to formally request a TNS service, based on a better understanding of the service, the customer will be required to submit a Telecommunications Service Requisition (TSR) form along with any other relevant User Forms to start the process. Depending on the type of service requested, lead times may range upward from a few days to more than twelve weeks for more complex services. The lead times are “initiated” when TNS receives a properly completed and signed TSR and the customer receives an e-mail from TNS confirming agreement on the scope of the work. In addition to the TSR, other forms may be required to process specific requests. Refer to User Forms for a complete listing of on-line Telecommunications forms. The TSR formally authorizes TNS to proceed with the service request whether it is for (1) a new service installation, (2) a change to an existing service or (3) the discontinuation/ deactivation of a service. In addition, this form is authorizes TNS to direct bill for recurring charges until the service is removed or canceled. For non-recurring charges, such as equipment installation, this form is used to give approval to complete the work specified. |
