Sample Service and Equipment (Recurring and One Time) Summary Statement for Non-University Park Locations

These Summary Statements are produced on the last weekend of the billing month as part of the University Park Billing Cycle. The statements are sorted by administrative area and give a summary of the total dollar amount direct billed to each budget/fund associated with that administrative area. For Non-University Park locations, only recurring and one-time charges appear on this summary statement.

Notes:

1. Year-to-Date totals are based on a fiscal year: July 1 - June 30.
2. Service and Equipment charges include recurring charges for circuits, backbone connections, LAN connections, and various maintenance fees, and one-time charges for work done on TSR's. Year-to-Date Service and Equipment totals on the Usage statement include charges billed through the end of the month prior to the statement (e.g. Service and Equipment charges billed through the end of May are included in the June Usage statement Year-to-Date totals).
3. Usage charges include direct dial long distance, calling card calls, and directory assistance calls.
4. Usage Billing Period is for calls made during the month prior to the Billing Month.
5. Service and Equipment charges include recurring charges for circuits, backbone connections, LAN connections, and various maintenance fees, and one-time charges for work done on TSR's.
6. Usage charges include direct dial long distance, calling card calls, and directory assistance calls. Year-to-Date Usage totals come from the Usage statement for the same billing month produced around the 8th calendar day of the billing month (i.e. several weeks earlier than the Service and Equipment statement for the same month).
7. This total is incomplete since the Service and Equipment charges for the billing month are not included in this total. The Year-to-Date figures on the Service and Equipment statement are more complete totals.
8. Service and Equipment Billing Period is for the month just ended and corresponds with the billing month.
9. This is the amount that is posted to Central Accounting as a direct bill.
10. Service and Equipment recurring charges include circuits, backbone connections, LAN connections, and various maintenance fees.
11. Service and Equipment One-Time Charges include labor and material charges for work done on TSR's. In addition, pro-rated charges for partial month service are included here, as well as adjustments for prior billing errors.
